Atlas Chen has been a game designer and creator since the age of twelve. Starting as an Age of Empires campaign designer in 2002, he has created thirteen campaigns including some recognized as top-level works in the community. Since coming to New York in 2012, Atlas continued to explore the boundaries of game design by making more than a dozen experimental games. Over many years of practice, he has learned to craft gaming experiences that are not only fun and engaging but also deep and meaningful. Atlas thinks game design is a way to explore truths about life and the universe, as well as a way to share these joys and insights with others.
Atlas was awarded the Randy Pausch Scholarship in 2013 for his 10+ years dedicated to the craft of game design. He is one of the first-year Game Design MFA graduates from New York University, and he holds a dual BA & BS degree from Tsinghua University. |
Nick Zhang is a game designer dedicated to making games that have the potential to improve the lives of their players. Nick has experimented with many different genres and styles, and his work has been recognized by numerous game festivals over the years. His recent field of work includes narrative games (with and without text), FMV games, and VR theatre experiences. Now that Gemini is released, Nick plans to keep on trying new things and pushing the boundary of game design.

Kevin Chen is a graphic designer, illustrator, digital & installation artist, and 2d & 3d game artist living in New York. He holds an MFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts. Kevin is focused on creating digital life patterns and dream visions inspired by nature, technology, and the future.

Tony Yan is a composer with a bachelor's degree in composition from Nanjing University of the Arts and a master's in composition theory from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. After finishing his work on Gemini, he began studying screen scoring at University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music. Tony's composition practice involves creating concert music, theatre music, and soundtrack music. His symphony “Sinking” was played in the Beijing Concert Hall, and his musical “Rag’s Love” was performed at the Shanghai Shanghai International Art Festival. In the recent album “Stage and Screen Vol.1”, Ablaze Records recorded and published his incidental music for the stage play “North Shanghai”.

Zack Zhang is an independent game designer currently working on Signal Decay, a co-op stealth action game. Zack started making games from a young age, and he excels at integrating different art forms into a holistic experience. He believes playing good games can make us better people. Zack’s work has been recognized by multiple game festivals, including IGF China and Casual Connect’s Indie Prize.

Simon is an indie games producer and business developer. He worked for some time at the Indie Fund, scouting out new games and helping developers become financially independent. Ferrari was also responsible for building the eSports Showcase program for IndieCade, before being named the co-chair of IndieCade East. Simon currently serves on the advisory board for the NYU Game Center Incubator, where he has taught and produced events in the past.
